Her experience includes coordinating services, managing Home Care Packages and helping clients and families navigate the aged care system. She is passionate about ensuring every client feels heard, respected and involved in decisions about their care.

The City of Knox is located in Melbourne’s outer east, stretching from Bayswater and Boronia to Ferntree Gully, Rowville and Lysterfield. The region includes suburbs such as Upper Ferntree Gully, Wantirna, Wantirna South, Knoxfield, Scoresby and The Basin.
Local Guardians supports older Australians throughout the region with personalised care management, helping them make the most of their Support at Home funding, access suitable services and maintain their independence at home.
Older Australians living in the City of Knox, including Ferntree Gully, Rowville, Wantirna, Boronia, Bayswater and surrounding suburbs, can apply for an aged care assessment through My Aged Care.
An aged care assessment helps determine eligibility for government-funded services, including Support at Home, residential aged care, respite care and transition care.
Assessments are free and available to people aged 65 and over, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 50 and over, and people aged 50 and over who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, provided they have eligible care needs.
During the assessment, a qualified assessor will discuss your health, daily activities and care needs to recommend suitable support. Family members or carers can participate with your consent.
Eastern Health is one of the organisations providing aged care assessments across Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, including the Knox area, under the Single Assessment System. My Aged Care determines which assessment organisation receives each referral.
